2008. Together with Boris Cepeda, Peter Schöne had the idea of making a recording of all Schubertlieder and present them on the internet at their own website. It became clear pretty quickly that this project would take many years. Together with several pianists, Peter Schöne is constantly working on this project. Our goal is to finish it up until 2028, the year of Schubert's death.
He was awarded the Schubert Prize of the German Schubert Society.

Olga Monakh combines a particularly long common musical partnership with Peter Schöne. In 2004 they could decide on a competition for themselves and won the first prize. A lot of recitals followed and are planned in the future as well.
Since 2010 Olga Monakh has been active in the Schubert-Lied-Project and has been recorded more than 120 Lieder. Some of them not being published at the moment. In the year 2013, she played together with Peter Schöne in a series of concerts in Berlin about 80 Lieder live for the audience.

Holger Berndsen and Peter Schöne met each other first in 2004. in the following years, their musical paths crossed repeatedly but it took over 8 years until 2012 that they did a first Liedrecital together. Since then they came together for concerts several times and were going to make recordings for the Schubert-Song project.

Boris Cepeda and Peter Schöne had quite a few recitals played together when they came up with their idea to deal intensively with the songs of Franz Schubert.
Together they started in 2008 to record all Schubert songs. In the first period arose particularly many recordings. In 2008, both together recorded almost 50 songs and in 2009 still almost 100 more songs. Now you can hear a total of 142 song recordings in this constellation.

Ralph Neubert and Peter Schöne met each other in 2009. As director of studies at the same theater as the singer, both found quickly a common music-language. In Theater Erfurt both worked together in several recitals.

Christoph Schnackertz and Peter Schöne met each other due to a fortunate coincidence. At one concert the singer was indisposed and the piece planned this evening by Wolfgang Rihm had Peter Schöne premiered a few years earlier. This was the start of the artistic activity of both together.
