Performers
Peter Schöne
Peter Schöne had the idea in 2008 to record all of Schubert's songs and present them on a dedicated website on the internet.
His close musical partnership with Boris Cepeda at that time turned the idea into a project, which quickly became clear would take many years to complete.
Eight years later, half of all the songs had been recorded and released.
Together with several pianists, work on continuing the recordings is being carried out continuously.
Peter Schöne was awarded the Schubert Prize of the German Schubert Society for this project.

Alexander Fleischer
Alexander Fleischer and Peter Schöne have crossed paths at various events, but never had the opportunity to perform together until 2018, when they were invited to perform at several concerts. This led to the development of a fruitful and welcomed artist friendship. Both artists share a passion for songs, so it was only a matter of time before they recorded their first pieces for this website.

Christoph Schnackertz
Christoph Schnackertz and Peter Schöne started making music together by chance. During a concert, the singer had to drop out and the piece planned for that evening, composed by Wolfgang Rihm, had been premiered by Peter Schöne several years earlier. This was the starting point for their joint artistic activity.
In 2011, Christoph Schnackertz recorded Franz Schubert's songs for the first time with Peter Schöne. You can hear a total of 15 songs in this constellation.
