Maravillosa la página. Mis mejores deseos porque sigan adelante. En algunas canciones encuentro una gran similitud en la voz del barítono con la de Fischer-Dieskau, sin que ello sea de un demérito. Más bien creo que es una virtud.

I am using the first four lines of Erlkoenig as an introduction to a novel, "World Enough and Time," about a fictional character who comes to America in 1776 as a cornet with the Brunswick Prinz Ludwig Dragonen to fight on the British side, is captured at the Battle of Bennington, and never goes home. Look for it when it appears in translation, and know that I will always remember your rendition, which I heard this morning. It ranks with Fischer-Dieskau's, and Axel Schiotz's, both of which I have heard in master classes. Simply splendid!

Thank you for setting up this website. In 1966, I was in a group that performed one of the works of Schubert while at school in Nigeria. The audience comprised of other students from neighbouring schools. It was fabulous and I still have very fond memories of it. Sadly I have lost the music sheets and the words during my various moves. Would it be possible to direct me to a site where I can download or buy the music (and words) of the operatta :) I shall be most grateful for any help. Is this particular work being produced anywhere at the moment?

Vielen herzlichen Dank für dieses tolle Projekt ! Die Unmittelbarkeit, mit der Schuberts Lieder zu Herzen gehen, leuchtet uns auch in diesen hier vorgestellten Interpretationen, die den Vergleich mit anderen Aufnahmen von z.B. Fischer-Dieskau oder Bostridge nicht scheuen müssen. Weiter so !

Danke für die neuen Lieder. Mein Wunsch, möglichst bald Im Frühling und Sei mir gegrüßt zu hören. Was die CD betrifft, so kann sie m.E. leicht 10-15€ kosten, damit sich der Aufwand für Sie lohnt.

Die Datierung ist in keinster Weise falsch. Ja, Schiller war schon tot. HIER geht es aber um die Vertonung, die 1815 geschrieben wurde und 1830 erstmals veröffentlicht wurde.
